Providing Perspectives and Building Dignity
“We guide young people in vocational training, entrepreneurship, and the fight against juvenile delinquency. Particular emphasis is placed on supporting women and young mothers towards economic independence.”
Faced with the challenges of unemployment and socio-economic insecurity in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the BANAVENIR Foundation is committed to offering a second chance and concrete opportunities to the most vulnerable populations. By supporting youth and promoting women’s empowerment, we are transforming vulnerability into a driving force for development across our communities.
Vocational Training & Practical Trades
We organize technical and craft training workshops adapted to the local market (sewing, hairdressing, manual trades, digital skills). These practical training courses allow young people to quickly acquire usable skills to actively integrate into socio-professional life.
Entrepreneurship & Micro-Activities
Beyond training, we support project leaders in creating their own micro-enterprises. Through training in business management, simplified accounting, marketing, and access to microcredit, we help beneficiaries realize their ideas and generate stable income.
Combating Juvenile Delinquency
To help young people escape idleness, boredom, and the risk of delinquency, the foundation offers civic guidance, psychosocial support, and mentoring. We redirect young people's energy towards constructive, sporting, cultural, and community projects.
Support for Women & Girls-Mothers
Single mothers and vulnerable women often face double marginalization. Our dedicated program offers them a safe space to rebuild their lives, psychosocial support, and the tools they need to launch an income-generating activity to provide for their children with dignity.
