Investing in knowledge to build a self-reliant and sustainable future.
“We support children’s education, the creation and support of schools, as well as vocational training for young people and women. The BANAVENIR Foundation also facilitates access to scholarships for deserving pupils and students.”
Access to quality education is the cornerstone of all human and community development. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, many young people and women face significant obstacles to pursuing their studies or acquiring valuable skills. The BANAVENIR Foundation is actively committed to removing these barriers by providing a robust, inclusive, and locally adapted learning environment.
Vocational Training and Trades
To address unemployment and job insecurity, we offer practical training modules for young people and women. These short, skills-based courses (craft trades, micro-entrepreneurial management, digital and technical skills) enable them to achieve rapid and lasting financial independence.
Support for Schooling & School Retention
We combat school dropout by covering tuition fees and providing complete school kits (textbooks, uniforms, learning materials) for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our goal is to guarantee every child the fundamental right to learn and thrive in a safe environment.
Scholarships & Merit Promotion
The BANAVENIR Foundation identifies and rewards the talents of tomorrow. Through our scholarship program, we offer financial support and tutoring to particularly deserving but disadvantaged students, thus opening the doors to higher and professional education.
An approach focused on transparency, inclusivity and local accountability.
School Creation and Strengthening
Beyond individual support, the foundation actively participates in improving educational infrastructure. We support partner schools by renovating classrooms, providing benches and computer equipment, and making modern educational resources available to improve learning conditions.
